Melody Park Adventist Residential Care residence is a peaceful haven set within a natural bushland setting at Nerang, close to the soft sandy beaches of Queensland’s Gold Coast. Major shopping centres and the attractions of the Gold Coast are within a short driving distance, as are medical centres, business facilities and major public and private hospitals.

Co-located on-site with our independent living units, our Melody Park residential facility offers 40 residential places, with 20 of those dedicated for residents with memory impairment and dementia. Family and loved ones are welcome to visit as valuable members of our community, and partners with us in the care relationship with residents.

What an amazing place!

My mother has been in and out of hospital after a fall at home since April 2022. She was always extremely independent prior to this incident living on her own. In December she was rushed to emergency again and after many weeks in hospital we finally convinced her to go into respite for a short stay. Prior to this she was against it and wouldn’t even discuss the option. The social worker from GCUH put the call out and Melody Park came back offering mum a bed in respite.

What an amazing place! Mum is now in her 4th week and has completely turned a corner in both her health and also the idea of going into permanent care. The staff at Melody Park have been amazing. They bend over backwards to do anything they can to make mums stay comfortable and safe. The carers and nursing staff are always there to support not only mum but the family as well on this very confronting journey we now find ourselves on. Big thanks to Jacqui in admin for all the very helpful advice prior to mums admission, all the incredible nursing staff, carers and volunteers. The experience has been seamless, easy and beneficial to us all especially mum.
