Home Care
Everybody wants to remain comfortably in their own home, surrounded by their cherished memories and belongings. No one wants to leave home unless absolutely necessary.
As we get older, everyday tasks can become harder to manage alone. You may find yourself needing a little extra support to stay independent, safe and confident at home.
With the right support at home, you can continue living independently and comfortably while still enjoying the life you love.
We are here for you – when you need a helping hand.
To support you and your family, Adventist Retirement Plus offers a full range of Home Care services.
Our genuine and personalised Home Care services are delivered by a dedicated, consistent team. Every client is known personally, listened to, and supported with genuine care. We take the time to understand your individual needs and foster real connections and trust.
In addition to supporting residents of our Victoria Point and Capricorn retirement villages, we also provide Home Care services to people living independently in the surrounding communities of Redland City and Yeppoon.

How to access our Home Care Services
There are two ways to access and pay for our Home Care services: through the Government-funded Support at Home program or via Self-Funded options.
Support at Home
The Australian Government’s Support at Home program helps older Australians remain independent in their own homes for longer.
It provides a range of supports services, from practical day-to-day help to personal and nursing care, so your care can grow and adapt as your needs change.
Our team is here to guide you through the process, answer your questions and ensure you get the care and support you need to live comfortably at home. Whether you’re just starting to explore your options or have already received a home care package, we can help you make the most of the program.

Self-Funded
In addition to Support at Home services, we also offer Self-Funded services, giving you greater flexibility and choice in the care and support you receive.
With Self-Funded Home Care, you can access the same range of services as a government-subsidised Support at Home, but you pay privately and have full control over what you pay for and how your care is managed.
You can get started straight away – there are no waiting periods or eligibility assessments required.
