COVID-19 UPDATE: Family & Friends – Victoria Point
Following the Queensland Health Announcement on the 11.01.2021 Aged Care homes will continue to have restricted visitation for the safety of residents. This is a disappointment for us all, but we acknowledge that this directive will reduce the risk of Covid-19 introduction to the most vulnerable in our society so it is for this that we are grateful. Hopefully at this stage it appears that this restriction will be lifted on the 22.1.2021 at 1 a.m.
Our team within Victoria Point are looking after your loved ones. They are wearing surgical face masks for the increased safety of the residents and will be the residents company in your absence. We will be increasing the lifestyle hours so that activities can be focused for the residents at this time. There will also be virtual visits via technology that can be coordinated with the lifestyle team.
